Summer is coming to Maine

So, despite the fact that it has been raining off and on (more on than off) for the last few weeks, summer is just around the corner. The local Farmer's Market is open for business just out our front door Tuesday and Friday's on the town green. They have lots of great plants, seedlings, yummy treats and advice for how to work in your own garden with this weather.
Bowdoin Graduation is this coming weekend, a sure sign that summer is on its way.
On memorial day there is the local Memorial Day parade. All the local school bands, scouting troups, businesses and local groups come out in force to share the spirit. This year's theme is the Vietnam War. Grab a fresh cup of coffee after breakfast and wander across the porch to watch the festivities. Sound like fun? Call us and we will reserve your spot!!
